Okay, Stacey Swoboda (Joy) has successfully harrassed me enough to post a profile.20 years has flown by in the blink of an eye, unbelievable... I'm single, never married and lovin' every minute of it.  (may change in another 10 years but we'll see :-)  I've worked for the federal gov't in the Intelligence Community for over 16 years.  Lived in Northern VA. for some time and moved back to the Arnold area where I currently reside.  Stacey and I have remained close friends since 7th grade and have journeyed* through the ups and downs of life together after graduation.  We share many memories of high school that we crack up about almost daily.  I have a photographic memory and could probably share some tidbits that even you don't remember :-) There's just too many to list here but I'm sure they'll be lots of sharing & caring at the reunion!!  *Speaking of Journey, I'm still a major freak of a fan and travel all over as a groupie to see them perform.  I've met some interesting folks as a result of my excursions to say the least.  I'm still 16 in the body of a 37-year old and although I pay my taxes and am a law-abiding citizen, I refuse to grow up!! Looking forward to seeing everyone, this one's going to be a bender, I can just feel it!!!  Wooot!

OMG....here's a few from Mrs. Luty's 9th grade Algebra class: "Ready, ready, ready..skank!" Carole and Loren should remember that. Deayna Ewell hiding in one of the storage panels the entire class. Therese riding over after school on her moped so we could "swap" our homework, all of it was dead-ass wrong. Guess what...I despised Algebra then and have NEVER had to use it in my adult life. Sorry Mr. Newton, you were wrong :-(

I still can't believe that it has been 25 years.  WOW alot has happened in that time.  I am happily married with four children - my oldest, Nicole is 26 and has given me my first grandchild - Mason; my daughter Brooke is 22 and is studying to be a teacher; my son Brent is 20 and is serving in the Army overseas and my baby Patricia will be 8 and entering 2nd grade! We live right outside of Church Hill. I earned my Master's degree in Business Management from Salisbury University and still work for Corporate America (25 yrs now). I also teach Character Counts at the Elementary school in Church Hill.  I am truly blessed and very thankful for the journey that I am on...

I've been living on my boat and working in Annapolis since I was divorced in 2003. I worked in Easton at a Civil Engineering Firm from 1990-2003 and resided in Centreville.  I'm currently employeed as a Project Mngr for a Retail Developer in Annapolis. I enjoy spending my time boating, fishing, camping, drinking cold beers and driving fast cars. I started hiking the Appalachian Trail North from Georgia in 2000 and have hiked over 600 of 2,100 miles. I hope to eventually get to Maine.  I look forward to the reunion and checking in on this website to see who else has posted.

30 Yes later and I have 4 children....2 step and 2 biological. I have 4 grandchildren.....3 girls and 1 boy.... with 2 more boys about to be born in September and in November. Hmmm I don't have too many fond memories about my high school years. LOL I remember Sarah Mahany and I in Mr. Hyde's Algebra II class and he was always "picking" on me! LOL Of course he had been my 7th and 8th grade Science teacher and my 11th and 12th grade teacher too! Also I remember Mr Schipul telling me if my dad beat his team playing softball it would effect my gym grade. He was such a great person! I do have fond memories of Mr Petroski too!

8/6/2018 - December 2014 I moved my business to Kent Island.  Hardest move ever but now reaping the rewards. Not having to travel across the damn bridge anymore is....PRICELESS!!!  Still a shacked up freeloader!  Life is good.

8/22/2007 ~ I live and never left and have no intentions of leaving Kent Island.  I own and operate a business in Baltimore, MD.  The worse part of my job is the drive....I hate to drive to Baltimore everyday.  Just like everything else in this world...... you have to take the good with the bad! I have been in two long term relationships.  The first one lasted about 10 years and the relationship that I am in now has lasted so far just about 12 years...(all 12 good years.)  I am a "Shacked Up Freeloader" and proud of it.  I have never been married and don't have any kids.  I don't even have pets!  I am selfish and like to come and go as I please.  I guess "I" never want to grow up!!!! I enjoy fishing, water skiing, wake boarding, traveling and partying on the weekends. My new interest is in natural organic food and products, alternative medicine and self-help. Life is good!!!

Well, after many years of wondering why we never had a website, I finally found it (Thanks Shannon)  I see I missed yet another reunion, maybe someday i'll make one.  Until then, it's good to see everyone here. 
Wow, where do I start?  I'm recently single again(never married), just can't seem to make that commitment as yet.  I do have one son, he'll be 13 in February, lives with his mom in TN.  I'm now a self employed, self tought, webmaster/web developer and going back to school in January for some real training.  I've lived most of my life in the fast lane and am finally starting to settle down a bit.  Been all over the U.S. and finally settled here near the Twin Cities in MN.I'll come back and add more/edit this later and upload some photos as I get around to it.  Good to see everyone again!P.S.  As for the picture, i was tired, cranky, unshaven & the sun was in my eyes :P

Hi everyone. Sorry I missed you at the reunion. I had a big year last year. I got married again to a wonderful man I wish I had met years ago but I guess we wouldn't be where we are now without some of those trials in life. I have 2 boys, Darren who is 18 and works full time for the Cracker Barrel on KI and Nathan is 13 and is a Freshman at KIHS. All is good here. We work, hang out in the evenings and on the weekends in the summer we enjoy our pool and attends parties with family. Life is great!

We have 4 beautiful children, he says they get all their good looks from him. Ashley, the sunshine of my life is 16, and a senior in highschool.  Samantha, my model, is 14. Isaiah, the only other "man" in my life, is 12.      Hello All!  I can't believe it has been 20 years (time truly does fly!).  It has been really nice checking in to see what everyone has been up to.  Well for me, after high school I graduated from Hampton University in Virginia (1992) and then the University of Delaware(1995).  As if I don't get tired of being a student, I am currently working on my doctorate; since passing my Comprehensive Exam in June 2008, I am A.B.D. (All But Dissertation)!  I have worked as a School Psychologist and/or Therapist in Prince George's County (for 2 years) and in Queen Anne's County for the past 11 years). Due to my close family relationships/ ties, not to mention a really nice job offer, I didn't move far; I guess you can say I am "home grown".  For the past 3 years I have been the Program Director/Administrator for the QAC Infants and Toddlers Program and this is the most rewarding and best job I have ever had and I thank God for it everyday.      In the early 90's, while in grad school, I was "formally" introduced and began dating another "home growner", Shawkeen (QACHS class 0f 86).  The bible says, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing" and after Shawkeen's search, there I was..... on spring break minding my business (LOL).   Yes, "I'm the good thing that he found"  and this September (2008) it will be 10 years of marriage for us.!!!  I have two stepchildren (17 yr. old male and 15 yr. old female) and two other children (16 yr. old male and 13 yr. old female) that my husband and I began raising, as our own, after their mother (my cousin) was killed in an automobile accident 3 years ago. I can truly say that there are no dull moments in the Johnson household; teenagers really do keep us busy and in much prayer (smile).  Although I have no biological children of my own, not just yet anyway, this is still my desire even after 4 teenagers... I'm not 40 yet (smile again).  All in all, I can say that I am truly a Blessed Woman!       Over the past 20 years, in addition to the joys of living to please God, growing with my husband and the children, and taking every opportunity to spend time with my parents and other family, I have maintained close relationships with 1988 classmates Deayna Ewell, Rayshelle (Lynch) Robinson, Charnita (Curtis) Garnett, Deondra Jones, and Leah Jones and have also formed other very close and meaningful relationships with a few college/ after college friends and sorority sisters (Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.) all whom I also share time with. Throughout my life this is what I have tried to live by, as this keeps me humble: (1) I keep myself surrounded by people who love me for me, who push me when I need it, who pray for me just because, and who love to enjoy life and follow their dreams, like me; (2) I make sure that I seek first to understand and then to be understood; (3) I try to hold true to the words of the serenity prayer; (4) I never expect more from others than what I myself am willing to give or do; and (5) I am learning more and more each day, "to keep it simple."   Of course I forgot to keep it simple until I got to the end of this message (Ha Ha Ha....LOL).    See you at the reunion!

For me it has been 21 years ago that I was in the class of '88 (11th grade) I still remember a lot of names and faces.  What has happened to me after I had to return to the Netherland (yes I was the Dutch exchange student that year).When I returned I first had two more years of high school to finish before I moved to the other part of the country to attend University. After 5 years I graduated and got my master of science degree in Industrial Business and management.  Then I moved to Amsterdam and started to work in the In the IT business. I started as a programmer (but that was really not my thing) and I have moved on to being a consultant for the past 10 years. My main area is the IT support organizations and the support tools and processes they use.I have been married for almost 9 years now (Mrs Davidson attended my wedding) to Dirk Janssen and we moved to a small town near Amsterdam called Weesp. We have 2 children, Annabel (5 years) and Koen (2,5 years). I still am a fanatic tennis and fieldhockey player.I have been back in the states 2 times after I left. Both times I visited Mrs Davidson (the only person I am still in touch with).

After graduation I went to work full time with Queen Annes County Public Works. I did remain living on Kent Island. In the Spring of 1998 I met the  women  whom I was going to marry.   On Valentine's  Day in 01 got married. My daughter Jessica was born in June and my youngest daughter Madison was born in August the following year.   We out grow our home on Kent Island and moved to Caroline County in 2002. In 05 we purchased a 2nd home close to the beach. After  spending  Holiday's and weekends there  I found myself not wanting to leave. After 18 years with Queen Annes  County I  had enough of  the drama  . In the Spring of 06  I accepted a position with the Town Of Ocean City.  We sold our home in Denton  and moved  to Berlin.  Today I stay busy with the newest addition to the family, our son Timothy. Since Timothy was born our home is to small, so we are moving again!  After giving up the pager and cell phone you can have a life!

As everyone can see I disappeared for the last 20 years.  For a "Brief" summary of the past 20 years...(deep breath)...here goes...Grabbed my diploma, moved to PA, got married, started a family (boy and girl), worked for Random House for 12 years, left Random House in 2001, went to work for the Clarks Comapnies, left there in 2003 to pursue career in Cinematography.  Made independent films, travelled as far as the middle east, have seen about 25 states, and very recently settled in on a more local job as a Restaurant Manager.  I have seen the Atlantic and the Pacific, the Gulf of Mexico to the Persian Gulf.  I have dined with Princes and flown in dozens of aircraft ranging from Chinese trainers to Otters.  I am empathic by nature and regularly see and feel ghosts.  Pretty annoying actually.  I also have spells of pre-cognition and see short bursts into the future.  Psychologists love me.  My son Scotty has the gift too.  I have had a very difficult home life through the years.  Certainly I never expected life to be so hard at times.  I love to stay out in nature.  Hiking on trails and bird photography are favorites.  Keeps me away from the world for that short time.  I have experienced earthquakes, hail, floods, hurricanes and tornadoes, blizzards, sandstorms to name a few.  All of which can most certainly get the blood pounding...especially when your life is in danger...I still listen to Pink Floyd regularly and I still believe that David Gilmour is the most talented guitar player out there.I believe in UFO's as I have experienced that too...though I don't think they bothered to take me away...cows are so much better tasting and have bigger butts to probe.I live in a 100 year old house.  I have 6 cats, a fish, and a rat.I have owned about 25 cars since graduation.  I currently have the HHR by Chevy and an Astro Van.I think that'll be it for now...

Since high school I tried working as a secretary and found out that was not the career choice for me.  I worked for the Postal Service for 15 years.  Decided to make a career change and now work as a Pharmaceutical Tech.  I married my husband Tim 15 years ago and have two beautiful  children, Shelby, who is 15 and Tad, who is 11.  Shelby is a JV Cheerleader for North Caroline High School and Tad loves the outdoors and plays baseball and soccer.  My husband has both the kids interested in hunting also.  Not for me.  Look forward to hearing from everyone.
